Continuing my series of annoying phrases and overworked excuses for avoiding a real conversation —

Can we stop using the supercilious phrase: “What’s Up?’ or any of its annoying cousins such as “wassup?” and “wuz up?”

Come on already! When you call me; do not, I repeat – do not, start the conversation by asking me “what’s up?”  I did not call you.  You called me.  Please tell me why you called and are taking precious minutes of my life that will never be recovered.

I have no idea why you called me; really. I will not be able to answer your question: “What’s up?”.
