I will make my prediction now.  Corporate bigwigs and immensely wealthy individuals (which by the way do not include people with a puny 250 million dollars in new money) are not diehard partisans.

I predict as the election draws to a close and Romney has further stumbles, such as a poor showing during the upcoming debates, the “smart” money will abandon Romney’s campaign or will even switch allegiance to Obama.

These folks did not get their wealth by placing bad bets and they have no loyalty except where they think that their money will buy access.  They did not get there because of blind adherence to their principles whatever they may be.
