Conventional  wisdom be damned, many Mormons have served and are serving our country in uniform, confronting the foes of freedom with their bodies.  Ten Mormons have even won the Congressional Medal of Honor according to an article in the New York Times today.

So what did Mitt Romney do when the call came?  He decuded to do alternative service in the South of France as a missionary.

The only uniform that Mitt ever wore was a Michigan State Trooper uniform in his impersonation of apolice officer stopping innocent motorists.
