Falling Star is a very realistic science fiction thriller about the accidental discovery of huge mysterious objects buried deep in the ocean in 1967 and what happened when they woke up in 1993 and started sending messages to outer space.  Mike is pulled out of a cushy job on Wall Street to finish the work he had started as a young navy ensign in 1967.  But before he can even reach the headquarters of the super secret agency, he is attacked by gangs of what look like ordinary Americans.  As it this wasn’t enough, he also learns that a deeply revered friend has died.  Will the death of Mike’s friend mean that the secrets of the enigmatic objects will remain forever buried in the muck and silt of the ocean bottom?
