Spanish Is A Loving Tongue

Except in Maricopa County, Arizona, apparently.  The county election office mailed out about two million new voter registration cards in Spanish.  Some of the cards misdated the election from November 6 to November 8.  Maricopa officials say that only 50 of the cards had the mistaken date; right.  I do not know of any printing process that would “accidentally” change the information that was entered for only fifty or two million cards.

As readers may know, Maricopa County has a history of tension between elected officials and Hispanics.
