I once read that all drawn cartoon characters have either 3 or 4 digits on their hands due to the fact that it is very difficult to draw all 5 digits and have them articulate in any way. Have a look at your disney characters or any other cartoon characters anywhere. It’s pretty normal.
Plus the fact that it saved on having to draw thousands of extra digits for Disney movies.
You’re quite right. It’s been ages since I read that article, but now that you mention it, that was another of the primary reasons for the missing digits. 🙂 Thanks for reminding me of that.
